ICBEC is proud to highlight the upcoming initiative of one of its long-standing members, the Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development (ICOPED) at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. ICOPED will host the 5th International Conference on Cooperatives (ICOOP2025) virtually on November 20–21, 2025, under the theme “The Cooperative Advantage: Empowering Communities, Transforming Futures.”
As part of the global observance of the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives 2025, ICOOP2025 will provide a platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to engage in dialogue, share research, and explore solutions around cooperative development. Topics will range from sustainability and innovation to social inclusion, governance, and the broader social and solidarity economy.
This event is a testament to ICOPED’s active engagement within ICBEC and its continued leadership in advancing cooperative education in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
